Andreas’ research focuses on landscape based recreation, development of the cultural landscape and modeling of landscape ecological processes. He has a strong interest in interdisciplinary research and in quantitative analysis, modeling and simulation methods, mostly with reference to Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
