Access Keys

The main content areas of the OPENspace website have access keys assigned to them.This means that you can use the keyboard to jump to any main area from anywhere else in the site.

Access keys work slightly differently on Macs and PCs:

PC - Hold the alt key and the appropriate access key at the same time, then press Return.
Mac - Hold the ctrl key and the appropriate access key at the same time.

Below is a list of the access keys applying to the main areas of the site.

Opening Adobe Acrobat PDF files

The PDF (Portable Document Format) file format is a common internet file format which has the advantage of presearving the look and feel of the original doument. On the OPENSpace website PDF files are used for presentations, publications and leaflets.

To open and read a PDF file, you need to have a program called Acrobat Reader installed onto your computer. The program is available free of charge from the Adobe Acrobat site:

Changing the text size

If the text on the site is too small for you to read, you can change it using your Internet browser settings:

In Internet Explorer go to View > Text size and select Larger or Largest. In Netscape go to View > Increase Font Size.
